Insight Commons is a technology consulting firm, founded by a team that has worked extensively on disaster risk reduction, public policy, and project monitoring evaluation for numerous governments, UN agencies, non-profits, and the World Bank. 

Our mission is to unlock the positive power of AI to support human decision-making around critical global challenges, while limiting the downside such as algorithmic bias, hallucination, and the unimaginative recycling of dubious common knowledge.

Based in Washington DC and Nairobi, we are a small team of technology enthusiasts who have dedicated their careers to data analytics for tackling global challenges, including famine and food insecurity and management of catastrophic disasters. Our technical experience is in both conventional and AI-driven analytics, big data management, and modeling of complex systems.
